Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Struggling with PTSD After Suffering a Stroke

American model Hailey Bieber pointed out that she had certain symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder after she suffered a minor stroke last year. Justin Bieber's wife, Hailey Bieber, has opened up about how her mental and physical health has taken a toll on her since suffering a stroke last year.

"I struggled with a lot of anxiety after. I struggled with a little bit of PTSD [Post Traumatic Stress Disorder] of just like the fear of maybe it was gonna happen again," Hailey explained. "It was just a feeling that I was, like, I never want to experience that ever again.

I mean, it was so terrifying, so jarring, so discombobulating in every single way that you could imagine." The model said she was in Palm Springs when she suffered a stroke and received emergency medical treatment last March, and the thought of the event was too much to even recount on the podcast.

'The scariest thing she's ever been through' Hailey added that even if she is "open to talking about the experience if it could help somebody else" - it was still "really hard to talk about". "Even the [Telling My Story] YouTube video that I had made for my YouTube channel was hard for me," she admitted.

"It brings back the feelings for me of going through that experience. It gets easier, and easier with time to be able to talk about it. I'm just really grateful that I was able to have had amazing doctors, and nurses, and people that helped me get to the bottom of what actually happened." "I look back at it and it could've been so much worse.

So many worse things could have happened in that moment," she mused. Hailey and Justin Bieber have always been open and honest with fans about their health issues. Not long after her health problems, Justin also found himself in need of medical attention as he battled Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a condition that left one side of his face temporarily paralyzed.
