Rihanna finally revealed her son to the world, seven months after his birth in May 2022. The music star, who had the child with her boyfriend ASAP Rocky, shared a video on TikTok of her son cooing and smiling at her as she films him.
In the video, Rihanna can be heard asking her son if he is trying to get her phone. Later in the video, the boy, whose name has not been shared by the couple, is seen yawning sweetly as he looks out the car window. This is Rihanna's first post on TikTok, and she captioned the video "hacked".
'You tryna get Mommy's phone?' she joked as he reached his arms toward her cell as she recorded him. In January of this year, Rihanna announced her pregnancy by sharing photos of her pregnant belly on social media.
Rihanna did not reveal the baby's name.
She said: “We just didn’t get around to it yet really.
We’ve just been living. But I guess there’s a certain freedom that comes with a kind of just, like, getting it out there”. Many had speculated that she was expecting a girl due to her wearing a pink coat in the photos, but it was later revealed that the singer was in fact expecting a boy.
People magazine announced the news of Rihanna and ASAP Rocky's relationship in late 2020. "Rihanna and A$AP are so in love and have the best time together,' the source said to ET. "They are also a great team when it comes to being parents to their baby boy.
She would love to have more children with A$AP in the future," the source declared.
Rihanna also reflected on motherhood
