Kim Kardashian and Ye, the rapper better known as Kanye West, have reached a divorce settlement that includes joint custody of their four children and division of their assets. Although they will have joint custody of the children, ages 3, 4, 6 and 9, Kardashian will receive $200,000 a month in child support because he will spend most of his time with her, the New York Post reports.

The celebrity couple married in 2014, and Kardashian filed for divorce last year, citing irreconcilable differences. Ye has sparked controversy in recent months by publicly severing major corporate ties and lashing out at other celebrities on social media.

His Twitter and Instagram accounts were restricted, and the social network removed some of his posts that users condemned as anti-Semitic. Details of their divorce settlement were reported by several media outlets, citing Los Angeles County Superior Court documents.

Reuters could not immediately confirm the authenticity of the documents.

Earlier this year Kim said:

“even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important, to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy”.

“I’ve chosen myself,” she told the publication. “I think it’s okay to choose you”. Parents must agree on which school the children will attend and make other decisions regarding therapy, counseling, or religious activities, the Post said, citing a court document.

The children will not be allowed to move more than 100 kilometers from Kardashian's home in Hidden Hills near Los Angeles until they graduate from high school or turn 19, the Post reported. Each parent will be able to see the children for their birthdays and other special occasions.

“This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger,” West said earlier. Ye agreed to transfer one Hidden Hills property to Kardashian, who will also retain properties in Malibu and Riverside, California, and Harrison, Idaho, the Post reported.

Neither party will pay maintenance to the other spouse, and each will pay their own debts, Sky News reports. They will share the cost of their children's private insurance, schooling, and university. A spokesperson for Kim Kardashian declined to comment on the settlement, and representatives for Ye did not immediately respond to a request for comment
