While some criticized the model, others defended her with the justification that a number of famous women "exposed" their daughters to the public through this type of photography. Despite the backlash, Leni - who recently moved to New York from California for college - insists she's happy with how the shoot went and has decided to ignore the backlash.
"I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom. I think the photos turned out great," Leni told Page Six at her mother's iconic annual Halloween Party. "If I don't look at [the comment section], I don't have to pay any attention to it, so I just don't know what is there.
I had an amazing day, an amazing shoot, it's out, I love it." She also praised her mother, saying she was her "inspiration" and admitting they had fun posing for the camera together.
