Kim Kardashian celebrated her 42nd birthday in style, and for the celebration, she chose a transparent lace dress that revealed her underwear. The reality star and fashion mogul held an intimate birthday dinner in Calabasas, California on Friday, with family members including Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Travis Barker and Kris Jenner.

Kim looked stunning in a long white lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana, with black underwear and slightly curled long platinum blonde hair. She completed the look with white strappy heels, a silver necklace, and a small glittery purse.

The famous family and their friends shared a glimpse of the celebration by publishing photos and videos from the get-together.
Kim herself posted details of the menu, which includes sushi, lobster, artichoke salad, and mochi ice cream, on her Instagram Story.

In another post, she also shared a clip of her mother's birthday card, which she described as a "rock star." “You are somebody that I am in awe of every single day,” Kris could be heard saying. “The way that you handle every single thing in life.

You handle all of us. You handle your kids. You handle your life. You handle everything that comes your way”. A luxury jet that is owned by Kylie Jenner was unable to land in Los Angeles due to dangerous weather conditions, including strong winds exceeding 56 miles/hr, so the group decided to dine at In-N-Out Burger as an alternative.

“The plane couldn’t land due to the wind so looks like our Carbone party and @usher concert isn’t happening and we are heading back home,” Kim wrote in an Instagram Story. “We stopped at In-N-Out because we couldn’t make it to Carbone in Vegas,” Kim said.

"Happy birthday Kim! I saw the post, I hate that you didn't make it to the show last night. But listen, open arms to you, whenever you want to come. I know you're still celebrating your birthday. And you can celebrate it at the next show if you come then, or whenever! We got three more shows."
