Carlex Design, a renowned aftermarket specialist, has unveiled an enticing new package for the all-new Ford Ranger, delivering striking exterior updates and a transformative interior makeover without altering the powertrain.
The CRX T-Rex package enhances the truck's already rugged appearance with a collection of fresh components. On the outside, the truck receives a toughened front end with a new bumper and radiator guard, both finished in the robust and durable Line-X material, which is also applied to other features like the mirror caps and side steps.
Additionally, Carlex adds a hood scoop, style bar, and roof cover for the auxiliary lights, all boasting the Line-X treatment, with the option for carbon versions. The package further includes distinctive T-Rex graphics, black 18-inch wheels, and painted brake calipers, giving the Ranger Raptor a more aggressive and striking presence on the road.
Bespoke Interior Makeover: Vibrant & Bold
Inside the cabin, Carlex exhibits its expertise, delivering a complete transformation featuring a prominent use of bright orange color accents. The Polish-based design house excels in crafting bespoke interiors for the automotive and aviation industries.
The interior makeover includes a leather-trimmed dashboard and steering wheel, premium natural leather upholstery, reshaped seats upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara, an Alcantara headliner, and painted air vents.
Special decorative elements with the CRX T-Rex name further distinguish the pickup's interior, completing the unique and bold design. The Ford Ranger Raptor destined for the US market comes equipped with Ford's powerful twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, boasting an impressive 405 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Meanwhile, the European version, introduced in 2022, offers 288 hp and 362 lb-ft of torque, along with the option of Ford's EcoBlue diesel engine, producing 210 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. The Ranger Raptor comes with an array of off-road enhancements, including optional 17-inch wheels, 33-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain KO3 tires, eight drive modes, an enhanced suspension system, and an active valve exhaust for an exhilarating driving experience.
