The renowned Hennessey tuning house has made headlines yet again with the launch of its new H700 package for the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray. The performance-enhancing package is designed to deliver a significant power boost to the supercar, making it more powerful than the new Z06.
The H700 package is composed of a high-flow centrifugal compressor and an air intake system with an air-water intercooler. The engine also benefits from an optional new exhaust system, resulting in an impressive output of 708 horsepower and 865 Nm of torque.
This marks an increase in power of 44% compared to the standard 490 hp, or 37% compared to 623 Nm of torque. With such impressive figures, it's no surprise that the H700 outperforms the C8 Z06, which features a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 engine that delivers 670 hp and 623 Nm of torque.
In addition to its superior performance, the H700 also features new lightweight 19- and 20-inch wheels, available in brushed aluminum, satin black, or graphite finishes. Hennessey has also designed new graphics to give the supercar an even more aggressive and sporty look.
"The stock C8 Corvette Stingray is an extraordinary sports car, yet Chevrolet left some V8 performance on the table," said John Hennessey, founder, and CEO of Hennessey. "Our exciting ‘H700’ supercharger package integrates seamlessly with the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and our exhaust upgrade sounds much more aggressive than stock.

The H700 package includes an updated high-performance engine software, which, when combined with the new compressor and intercooler, delivers an explosive 708 bhp and 638 lb-ft of torque.
The complete package is priced at $49,950, with the part of the package related to the power boost available for $34,950. The warranty covers three years or 58,000 kilometers.
