Hennessey Motors, the American high-performance automaker, will unveil its newest offering at the exotic car show in Miami, Florida on January 15th. Dubbed the Venom F5 Revolution, the ultra-sports model will be the third iteration of the F5 Venom series and is poised to appeal to wealthy track enthusiasts.
According to the company, only 24 copies of the car will be made available. The Venom F5 Revolution boasts a host of refinements, including an adaptive suspension that has been fine-tuned for improved handling and a body designed with aerodynamic solutions that enhance grip in turns.
The car is powered by a centrally located 6.6-liter biturbo V8 engine dubbed "Fury", which produces over 1,840 horsepower and 1,617 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
Despite its impressive power, the Venom F5 Revolution weighs in at just 1,360 kilograms, allowing for a power-to-weight ratio that will no doubt turn heads on the track. The multi-adjustable rear spoiler also provides an impressive 635 kilograms of pressure on the rear axle at speeds of up to 400 km/h, further improving handling.
The car also features larger diameter ultralight rims and tires that are intended for track use only. With a price tag of 2.7 million dollars, the Venom F5 Revolution is not for the faint of heart. But for those who can afford it, the car promises to deliver an unparalleled driving experience.
Hennessey claims that most of the planned 24 copies have already been sold even before the premiere, which is a testament to the car's appeal among car enthusiasts.
