These new models go further on a single charge, charge faster, and have more tech features than ever before. In no particular order, let's take a closer look at some of the most anticipated electric vehicles set to hit the market in 2023.
One of the most buzzed-about models is the Tesla Cybertruck, which has been in development for several years now. Tesla has promised that the Cybertruck will go into production in the summer of 2023, with a range of around 500 miles and a 0-60 time of just 2.9 seconds.
The Cybertruck will also have a one megawatt charging capability, just like the Tesla Semi truck. Another electric pickup truck to keep an eye on is the Canoo, which is set to start deliveries in the first quarter of 2023.

Mercedes-Benz is entering the electric SUV market as well, with the EQS. This high-end model is expected to have a range of around 435 miles, a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds, and a starting price of around $100,000. Other notable electric cars and trucks to look out for in 2023 include the Rivian R1T pickup truck, the Lucid Air sedan, the GMC Hummer EV, the Volvo XC40 Recharge, the Kia EV6, the Nissan Ariya, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
