Kiski Area, PA - The Kiski Area Sports Hall of Fame will welcome nine outstanding athletes into its prestigious ranks in the upcoming Class of 2023. This year's group of inductees includes Sean Arnold, Victoria Brungo, Chelsy Cosentino, Brandon Faber, Lynn Walton Fleckenstein, Matt McCutcheon, Felicia Faye Reid, Andrew Vida (posthumous induction), and Michael Wagner.

Sean Arnold stands out for his remarkable achievements at Kiski Area among the distinguished athletes to be honored. Graduating in 1998, Arnold excelled across multiple sports, earning nine varsity letters in soccer, football, basketball, and track and field.

His exceptional talent continued to shine at the collegiate level, where he played soccer for four years at Robert Morris University. Afterward, Arnold dedicated himself to his alma mater, passionately serving as an assistant and head coach for the Kiski Area boys soccer team over the past 12 years.

The induction ceremony will take place on September 2nd at the Greek Orthodox Church Social Hall on Washington Avenue in Oakmont. This special occasion will celebrate the athletic prowess of these nine Cavaliers greats and pay tribute to their enduring impact on the school's sports legacy.

Athletic Diversity in Class of 2023

The Class of 2023 comprises various accomplished athletes from various disciplines. Victoria Brungo, a standout swimmer and diver from the Class of 2010, will join the Hall of Fame alongside Chelsy Cosentino, recognized for her exceptional skills in both softball and basketball.

Brandon Faber, a former baseball and basketball star from the Class of 1995, will also be inducted, along with Lynn Walton Fleckenstein, known for her remarkable achievements in track and field and cross country during her time at Kiski Area.

Other notable inductees include Matt McCutcheon, who left an indelible mark in wrestling and baseball during his tenure from the Class of 2013, and Felicia Faye Reid, a multi-talented athlete from the Class of 2011, renowned for her outstanding performances in volleyball and track and field.

Andrew Vida, a posthumous inductee from the Class of 1976, will be honored for his remarkable football and track and field contributions. Michael Wagner, a track and field and cross country star from the Class of 2002, will also round out this year's exceptional group of inductees.

The induction of these nine athletes will bring the number of individual honorees in the Kiski Area Sports Hall of Fame to more than 120 since its inception in 2006. After a brief hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hall of Fame returned last year, resuming its mission to recognize and celebrate the exceptional talents and achievements of Kiski Area's sports legends.

In addition to the honored athletes, Anthony Nicholas and Frank Morea will receive the prestigious Bill Miller Community Service Award at the banquet. The plaques commemorating the inductees will be proudly displayed in the athletic wing of the high school, serving as a lasting testament to their outstanding contributions.
