Carlo Ancelotti surprised many: I am a supporter of Chelsea

Chelsea and Real Madrid will meet in the semi-finals of the Champions League in tomorrow's match. Both teams have the imperative to win and advance, but according to many, Real Madrid is the absolute favorite in this match.

However, Chelsea should never be written off, regardless of the fact that this is one of their worst seasons in the Premier League. Carlo Ancelotti commented on his opponent and emphasized that he has respect for the club, as well as for Lampard, from whom he expects great things.

“I am sad to see them [like this], of the people that are still working there," he said, as quoted by eurosport.com "I am a supporter of Chelsea, I spent two fantastic years there. Would I go back? No. I don’t think so.

I think and I hope that Lampard will do a fantastic job.
I have 20 more years of experience but this is not going to change what is to going influence what happens in the game.
He is a fantastic manager, extraordinary professional and in this case I don’t think it [the experience] will be of much use.
The truth is that he arrived a week ago and he is aware of how these games can go.

He will do well in the time he stays at Chelsea."

Carlo Ancelotti on Chelsea

Although Chelsea has a problem with a large number of opponents this season, the Italian expert does not want to underestimate anyone and enters this match cautiously and seriously.

Real Madrid is the favorite on paper, so we hope to see a top match. "We had a very bad time here [last season] and we have to respect Chelsea," he continued.
"They're not going through a good moment but they have a very good team.

Sometimes when you're [at your] worst, you bring out the best." We will see if Lampard can revive this team and make a surprise.
