Iconic Rally Driver Ken Block Dies In Snowmobile Accident

The world lost a prominent figure in rally driving and the co-founder of DC Shoes, Ken Block, who passed away in an untimely manner. According to the Sheriff's Office, Block had been driving a snowmobile up a steep slope in the early afternoon of Monday when the unfortunate accident occurred.

It is not yet clear what caused the snowmobile to overturn, but witnesses reported seeing the vehicle flip, tossing Block to the ground. Tragically, the snowmobile ended up on top of Block, crushing him. Emergency services were immediately alerted and rushed to the scene, but unfortunately, it was too late.

Block was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving the racing community and his loved ones in shock and mourning. In a statement, the Hoonigan racing team, for which Block had driven, expressed their condolences at the loss of their "visionary, pioneer, and icon." He was also a well-known figure in the online community, with his unique "Gymkhana" stunt driving series on his YouTube channel accumulating nearly two million subscribers.
