Cristiano Ronaldo took to Instagram on Tuesday to unveil a new joint line of watches created in partnership with the Jacob & Co brand. While the new Jacob & Co x CR7 models are quite special thanks to their unique designs, the collection has attracted attention for entirely different reasons.
Fans are convinced that the Portuguese football superstar gave Manchester United one last shot before leaving the club. Confused? Let us explain. If you look closely at one of the watches, the dial features a design depicting Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against United for Real Madrid in the Champions League in 2013.
The Jacob & Co x CR7 collection with its ManU trolling deal comes a week after Ronaldo's controversial interview in which he criticized the club, its owners, players, and manager, which threatened his second spell with the legendary football club.
