He and his former girlfriend, Ariana Grande split up after being two years together. Later, after a short period, Ariana engaged to comedian Pete Davidson in June 2018. Unfortunately, he left this beautiful world at the age of 26.
Rapper Mac Miller was found dead after an apparent drug overdose on his Studio City, California home on Friday afternoon. His family said in a statement that “he was a bright light in this world for his family, friends, and fans.”
The County of Los Angeles medical examiner said in the statement, “In the late morning of September 7, Mac was found unresponsive in his house located in the 11600 blocks of Valleycrest Drive in Studio City. Authorities were called, and Mac was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:51 am (18:51 GMT). At that time, an autopsy is pending, and a cause of death has not been determined.
Mac Miller started consuming drugs from the age of 15 and also he was taking lean drank (a type of drug). He opened up his struggles with addiction and anxiety to Vulture. He stated, “I really wouldn’t just want happiness. And I don’t want just sadness either. I don’t want to be depressed. I want to be able to have good days, bad days …”
Moreover, he often wrote songs about his daily usage of the drug, mental health, and desire for sobriety.
On the death news of Mac, almost all celebrities flowed on the social media to respond to Miller’s death, but only one person who did not comment on, is Mac Miller ex-girlfriend, Ariana. On September 8, 2018, she shared a black and white photo of Mac on her Instagram without a caption. In the picture, Miller stared up at the camera while sitting on the grass and a pair of white tennis shoes.
Later, former girlfriend of Mac was forced to disable her Instagram comments after fans began to blame her for Miller’s death.

“I am happy for her and moving forward with her life just as I’m sure she is with me.” He added, “I was in love with somebody. We were together for two years, we worked through good times, bad times, stress and everything else. And then it came to an end, and we both moved on. And it’s that simple.”
They started their relationship as a good friend and in September 2016, a former girlfriend, Ariana confirmed their relationship via Instagram. In 2013, Mac collaborated on her single ‘The Way.’ Mac Miller and Ariana Grande collaborated on his track ‘My Favorite Part’ and also shared a stage together to perform ‘The Way’ and ‘Dang’ at the One Love Manchester concert in 2017.
Just a few days after their split, Mac Miller arrested for DUI after he crashed his cars into the pole and fled the scene while he was driving in the San Fernando Valley area in May 2018. Police arrived at the scene and reported they found Miller’s Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and ran his plate, which led cop’s to Miller’s home.
When cops arrived at his home, he admitted to the crash. Then, they took him to jail and then released some hours later on $15, 000 bail.

He said, “I’d rather be the corny white rapper than the drugged-out mess who can’t even get out of his house. Overdosing is just not cool. You don’t go down in history because you overdose. You just die.”
